Exam Preparation Tips for Intermediate

Tip #1
Students need to make realistic targets for themselves. They should not try to overdo things like trying to study everything in a single day. Students also tend to get hyper quickly, they should avoid it and try and divide their course according to their capacity to learn.

Tip #2
Students preparing for their board examinations need to stop panicking. They should take it as any other set of ordinary exams as the easiest way of winning a battle is to win the battle in their mind first .

Tip #3
Building concepts without learning the basics is an unhealthy and tiresome way of studying. NCERT textbooks provide thorough knowledge of the basics and once a student gains this knowledge of the basics, he can solve other reference books as well easily.

Tip #4
The secret to achieving high marks for a student is to stay who they are and believe in themselves. Friends, parents and competitors are always there to change the tactics and track even at the last moment. Students should believe that no matter what anyone does or says, their way is still the best way .

Tip #5
Students have a habit of not sleeping properly, especially the night before the exams. They should instead sleep early every night, get up early in the morning, and have a proper breakfast and then study. Eating good food is also very important as students need a lot of energy during their exam time in order to sustain them for the whole day .

Tip #6
Students are also recommended to perform yoga and meditation in order to avoid stress. These exercises enhance their concentration power which refreshes their mind and body .

Tip #7
Students need to avoid last minute preparation as it always results into a total chaos and delivers disastrous results. All necessary materials such as pen, pencil, admit card, scale etc. should be organized in due time and be ready to be carried away when they leave for the exam centre.
Tip #8
Drawing neat diagrams and labeling them is one of the ways of presenting the answer sheet neatly and in an impressive way in order to score good marks. Students should always use a separate rough column and fair column. They should also have a habit of underlining the important points with black pen or pencil to make it easy for the teacher to check .

Tip #9
There may come times when the student is not able to understand what the teacher at school is trying to explain, because of which some of the part of his course may not be covered by him. In such a case he can join a crash course which can greatly help him in getting a good score. Many institutions today provide good education for the same .

Tip #10
The last tip as to how to ace in exams is to have fun. Do not dread examinations and fret over them. Study your syllabus, prepare well and give your papers in a cool state of mind. Examinations are to test your understanding and when you prepare well, nothing can stop you from achieving desired results.
